The NiCE club was recently invited to visit Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant near San Luis Obispo in on California central coast. This tour is tenatively planned to happen towards the end of the Spring 2025 semester. The club has been invited to bring 35 people to the plant to see its inner workings and get a tour of the surrounding environment. The club is not allowed to bring kombucha on the premesis citing the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power plant prohibited items list.
