Meeting with Julian Lake of the Bay Area Council

- Meeting took place on the historic Klamath ferry boat.

- Julian from the Bay Area Council gave a talk about the advocacy work the Council does and how the NICE club can help.

Additional Notes from the Meetings
Julian Lake invited the whole NICE club on to the boat that serves as the main office for the Bay Area Council. We all crammed into one of their conference rooms and received a presentation from Julian regarding the nuclear advocacy the Council engages with. The Council has several policy initiatives for the upcoming year related to nuclear energy. These goals range from encouraging key representatives to endorse nuclear energy to the ambitious goal of ending the nuclear moratorium in California. After the presentation, the club received a tour of the boat and took many pictures on the top deck.
