Joy Larson is the previous president of the NICE club and took over after the founder, Grant Mills, graduated. She now works at Westinghouse and gave a presentation about some of the work that she does on the core design team that she works with. She also talked about the entire technology stack that Westinghouse works on as the will supply everything from fuel to control room panels to nuclear reactor facilities. Westinghouse specializes in PWR technology with their newest flagship reactor being the AP1000.
